Intermediate/Senior Accountant – North Lakes

You will be in charge of many different aspects of accounting including, but not limited to:

• Meeting with clients to discuss their tax and structuring needs, as well as any other tax planning and compliance that may be required
• Preparation of a variety of Tax Return types, Annual Reports, Activity Statements etc for individuals, partnerships, trusts, companies and super funds
• Working with the partners on driving clientele and following up on leads and referrals gained
• Liaising with ATO on client matters

About you

• Accounting degree qualified
• Min 5 years experience in tax and business services in an Australian Public Practice firm or tax advisory
• Completed CPA/CA/IPA qualifications
• Demonstrated ability in advisory work
• Experience in managing and potentially develop a client portfolio
• Extensive knowledge with preparation of financial statements, tax and compliance
• Some experience managing others an advantage or be willing to be trained 
• Vast experience with accounting software (Xero, HandiSoft, QuickBooks, MYOB, Reckon, BGL etc.)
• Great attention to detail, strong communication and relationship management skills
• High standards, pride and heart to deliver outstanding results with integrity is a must
• Be bright, energetic and genuinely want to hold the position for the long term is a must
