You will be in charge of many different aspects of accounting including, but not limited to:

Meeting with clients to discuss their tax and structuring needs, as well as any other tax planning and compliance that may be required
Preparation of a variety of Tax Return types, Annual Reports, Activity Statements etc for individuals, partnerships, trusts, companies and super funds
Working with the partners on driving clientele and following up on leads and referrals gained
Liaising with ATO on client matters

About You

Accounting degree qualified
Min 5 years experience in tax and business services in an Australian Public Practice firm or tax advisory
Completed CPA/CA/IPA qualifications
Demonstrated ability in advisory work
Experience in managing and potentially develop a client portfolio
Extensive knowledge with preparation of financial statements, tax and compliance
Some experience managing others an advantage or be willing to be trained
Vast experience with accounting software (Xero, HandiSoft, QuickBooks, MYOB, Reckon, BGL etc.)
Great attention to detail, strong communication and relationship management skills
High standards, pride and heart to deliver outstanding results with integrity is a must
Be bright, energetic and genuinely want to hold the position for the long term is a must
